I found this article the other day that claims your favorite position says something about your personality archetype. I suppose that could be true - I personally am a lover doggy-style and a variation of military, which means I am wild and boring? or wild and romantic? I think I will just go with wild.
Though I wonder - don't people's favorite position change depending on their mood. I mean I know I feel more dominant and when I do - well, only cowgirl will do! And who wants to fuck in the same position all of the time - any position will get tres boring if that is all you do. Finally, location has a lot to do with form and functionality of how you have sex. Shower sex usually wasn't made for missionary (especially not for this big girl in those tiny little tubs).
Or what about when you add a little something extra? Missionary position isn't boring when you are restrained and blindfolded!! (mmm....yum!)
Do ... I have come to the conclusion that you can't come to the conclusion that your choice in your favorite sexually position is that one-dimensional. We are all multi-faceted beings that use several variations of each position, all for different reasons (do I want a quickie? a mind blowing fuck? a really fucking good time? get down and dirty?)
